  1. Wow. After 4 years of college, 3 years of law school, and 100K+ in loans and you have the privilege to click through corporate drivel in the middle of the night. Thank god you learned all about hearsay, the rule against perpetuities, and federal civil procedure so that you can code docs as "irrelevant" at 1:15AM. This is such a fantastic profession.

  2. Not so fast, anonymous. 4 years of college, 3 years of law school, and - see the ad - *6+* years of doc review experience to get this 60k year a job working the night shift. Except it's not really 60k because it'll only last for 4-6 weeks.

Oh, and Westfield, NJ is in the upper quartile of cost-of-living in the U.S. That $29/hr is like working for 18/hr in a more run-of-the-mill place.

  3. Those requirements are disgusting, for such a paltry sum. In total, one needs seven years of "higher education" plus six years of experience as a doc review monkey, just to be eligible for this trash position. Make sure you do not have any vacation plans, either.

What an illustrious "profession," huh?!?! Everyone should email this bag of ass pictures of dog excrement pasted in an MS Word file - just like I am ready to send. (Do so from an account you don't use much, so you are not inundated with tons of garbage job offers, from this agency. I'll use my normal account, because I don't care.)

  5. haha. I live pretty close to Westfield, NJ. I don't recommend working there terrible parking situation. But the food isn't too bad.

But that isn't the worst gig ever. It pays pretty well and its only for a month or so. When you need the money for survival, it seems pretty good to me. 30 dollars an hour for doing monkey work and having no one around.. You will probably be there by yourself or with other mis-fortunates.

Before I got the job I have, I worked about 50+ hours a week doing jobs like this one. I learned a lot doing it and I met some pretty good references. That is what lawyering is now. May as well embrace it.

  6. 6 years of experience is pretty unreasonable.

it's probably a typo and they mean 6 months?

    $29 is decent for NJ.

  7. Who is going to take that? I mean seriously, unless you live in NJ with your parents that job makes zero sense. I guess it's for the Rutgers grads.

  8. I think the six is the number of doc review gigs you've done in the past.

  9. Gonna be some sweet sounds comin' down on the night shift.

    I bet you're singin' proud.

I bet you pull a crowd.

    Gonna be a long night.

It's gonna be alright on the night shift.

  10. This is Deloitte, formerly the place run by that bitch Diane Barrasso - who is NOT even an attorney. Place is a total shit hole and treats attorneys like little kids making them "clock" in an out - even during lunch and mandating 15-minute breaks. Bottom line, this is the worst of the worst.

  11. This actually seems like a dream job compared to the 50k non-legal job I bagged post-law school.
